Colter Bay all 4 nights at GTNP?

we will be in GTNP for 4 nights. would it be better to spend 2 nights in the southern end of the park and 2 nights in the northern end, or are we okay to spend all 4 nights at Colter Bay?

We've been to GTNP but not to Colter Bay. The park is not that large, stay one place in the Tetons. if you want to see Yellowstone that is a different story. Yellowstone is huge

I'll second Hilda. One location at GTNP is fine. Have a wonderful time.

we stayed at Colter Bay and liked it. As the others have said, the park isn't that big that you can't drive easily enough. In fact when we went there, our cabin wasn't gong to be ready until 4 pm, so we drove back to Jackson for lunch and sightseeing before going back to COlter Bay.

We stayed at Colter Bay cabins last summer and found them to be a great location for all of our park activities. I would spend all nights there and not switch to another location in GTNP.

Their website says they fill by noon.

www.nps.gov

I know they used to take reservations but I can't find where to do that to tell you.
