Coast Anaheim Hotel-Safe? OK?

My DW would like to attend a conference nearby and would like to know your opinion of the Coast Anaheim Hotel. Lynnarro, are you out there, and would you please comment further?

We stayed at the Coast Anaheim a couple of summers ago during a trip to Disney. We found the hotel to be quite nice. We had a room overlooking Disneyland and had a good view of California Adventure. We only ate in the restaurant a couple of times - found the food to be average hotel restaurant food. Safety was not an issue - the only time it might be is that the elevators for the rooms were not in the same area as the check-in area and you could possibly be alone while waiting for the elevators.

Cathy,=D> thanks so much for sharing the details of your stay, it helps alot considering what tripadvisor.com says.

Was there any other hotel in the area that you were intrigued by?

I believe I stayed here last Oct. I say I "believe" because I am not totally sure. This is the one by the Hilton. Mariott, etc right near the convention center, right? If so, it's fine. I don't remember much about it, which means there was nothing stellar, nothing bad. It was good value with easy parking.
