City Club Hotel NYC..seen it?

Did a search but haven't seen anything from anyone who has actually stayed at the property. Considering the hotel for July and I'd love to get some first hand information.

Certain. The restaurant DB Bistto Moderne is in the hotel. It's at 55 W 44 St, NYC. Anyone know anything??

Not first hand information but found this in Timeout New York and Quikbook. Sounds like a nice hotel.

Neither a boutique hotel nor a full-blown luxury palace, City Club aims to be something in between. Guests will find a blend of high fashion and contemporary comfort in the Jeffrey Bilhuber–designed rooms in mahogany, chocolate marble and bronze, and the personalized service characteristic of small European hotels. Rooms also feature original works by contemporary collage artist Richard Giglio. If you prefer edible art, chef Daniel Boulud's db bistro moderne, the hotel's restaurant, serves American classics with a French twist.
Hotel services Discount parking. Health club.
Room services CD and DVD players. Cordless phone. Internet access.

Also: On Quikbook

Located on West 44th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, this small luxury hotel is a few blocks from Times Square and the Theater District. Guest rooms provide down feather beds, Frette bed linens, oversized down pillows, bathrobes, oversized bath towels, dual line cordless phone, and television speakers in the bathoom. The hotel provides high-speed internet access, DVD and CD libraries, complimentary health club membership, discount parking opposite the hotel, and complimentary newspapers and refreshments. DB Bistro Moderne provides breakfast, lunch and dinner and features the award-winning chef Daniel Boulud

Very new property. Got a decent mention in this month's GQ ("What's happening in . . . "). Smacks of effort, however.

Lots of press, but it looks like no one has actually seen the property. They changed their website recently. Much more appealing than the old one!
