Christmas Trip

I know Christmas is not good time for travelling, but my friend from China will do a Christmas trip! Her destination is New York or Orlando,so any suggestion for her? Thanks a lot!

Does she want warm (Orlando) or cold (NY)? I prefer NY to Orlando anytime of the year and I think the Christmas seaon in NY would be great, although much colder than Orlando. Also, IMO more "adult" than Orlando.

We have been to New York for Christmas and it was fantastic!!

I especially recommend the Radio City Music Hall Christmas show. And the decoration at Rockefeller Center.

I had been for Christmas in Florida too. They tried... but Christmas atmosphere just does not evolve there,

But the greatest place for Christmas in the USA has been Santa Fe, especially on Christmas Eve.

She really needs to make a couple of decisions:

Weather - winter versus warm

What to do - amusement parks versus a world capital city

Budget - Orlando will be much less than NYC (unless she can come in Jan - when it will be very inexpensive)

Thanks for your suggestions. It seems most of you prefer to New York. One problem is that she saw some pictures of Orlando tours from a site called tours4fun, and thought Orlando spots may be great. However, their NY pictures were less attractive so she can’t make decision. If you guys can give me some sites have great pictures of New York, I will appreciate a lot, because I really do not have so much time online. Thank you!
