Chosen Restaurants for weekend visit.

We arrive in New York on 10/31 and we are spending our weekend at the Benjamin Hotel. Dinner on friday night is at the Post House for steak. Sat. we have dinner reservations at a restaurant called Bellini which is near the hotel. Sunday we are going to the Acquavit for brunch. Could anyone tell us if the restaurants we have chosen are good

All I know is brunch at Acquivit was great. It's not one of those "stuff yourself with huge quantities" type brunches, but an absolutely beautiful and delicious array of well prepared dishes -- hope you love salmon!!!

Great Choice! Acquavit is one of my favorite all time places, as mentioned the salmon is delicious, but also the sweedish meatballs. Iam not certain that Marcus Samuelsson is in the kitchen on Sunday's but he has an outstanding staff! you are in talented hands!

Aquavit is terrific, the Post House is my favorite steak place in NY. Don't know Bellini but Zagat gives it a good review, although expensive. Another Italian choice in the neighbrohood is Felidia (58th betw 2-3rd). Fantastic but even more $. The chef/owner Lidia is on tv a lot.

If it's the Bellini on East 52nd Street, you can't beat it. The proprietor, Donatella, is a stunning woman who knows how to run a restaurant (owned by her father). I usually have a caesar salad and one of the pasta specials, and I've never been disappointed.

Be sure to have a drink at the bar with Enzo, the barkeep. He's a great guy.
