Chicago's 10 Best New Bargain Restaurants (May 2013)
Lots of Fodorites heading to Chicago with the warm weather approaching. Read this article in the Tribune this morning and thought it might be useful:

I wish to point out that all of these, with the exception of one, are in Chicago neighborhoods somewhat of a distance away from the areas most frequented by tourists. And that "bargain" means under $20 per person - so budget accordingly.
There are a great many wonderful and less expensive restaurants in Chicago, but you just have to travel a little distance to get to them. However, IMHO, that is also the way to discover Chicago. Don't limit yourself.
