Chattanooga hotels for small kids

We are planning a family weekend away in Chattanooga with another family - we both have a two-year old and a new baby. Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels that are centrally located (so we can go back for naps, etc), good quality (since we will be spending time in the rooms), and family friendly? I have heard of the Holiday Inn Choo-Choo hotel but I have heard mixed opinions. Any information will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

Check out the Marriott or even better the newly renovated Read House which is now under the Sheraton umbrella.

If you want to be closer down to the aquarium, there's a Courtyard, a Hilton and others.

We stayed in April with our five-year old at the Residence Inn downtown, and enjoyed it. It's all suites, and they have a good free breakfast buffet in the morning and a smallish indoor pool. It's only two blocks or so from the aquarium, less than a block from the IMAX theater and the children's museum (as is the Marriott Courtyard), and--most importantly if you have kids--only two blocks from Ben & Jerry's.

My only complaint was that the beds weren't very comfortable, but that's no different from most Residence Inns I've stayed in. And having the privacy of a two-room suite made up for that.
