Charleston-better month to visit, October or November?

Tell me what you can about sights being open between these 2 months and what foliage differences occur? Is there much difference between these months? Or is it just a few degrees temp difference and that's all. Any info appreciated.

Thanks much

I'd suggest that you visit Charleston before November 7, when daylight saving time changes. You'll want that extra hour of light in the evening.

Temps will be warmer in October.
Still some hurricane risk in October.
Rates should be the same for both months.
If you are planning on doing any beach time, you can't swim in the ocean by November.

I agree with all of the above.Charleston will still be in bloom in October and things start to fade in November. I recommend you come in October.
