Central Park Princess Tea Party

Two years ago when I was in NYC with the family, I was going to make a trip to take my young daughter to a princess tea party spot. It was near Central Park I think. Does anyone know the name of the place I am thinking of? It's a great place to take young girls. I know they have a website too. Please help if you can. Thanks!

Was in a restaurant or by the statue of the Mad Hatter in Central Park?

The city is filled with princesses, I am sure there is more than one website.

Could it have been at Alice's Tea Cup? There are several locations throughout the city. Here's a list of places to take your princess to tea:

Or were you thinking of the American Girl Place on 5th Avenue? I think that information is included in that Time Out New York link I gave you.

One of the 2 places mentioned are likely what you have in mind. The only other possibilities
- the Essex House hotel does specially themed teas at certain times
-the Carlyle hotel has special Madeleine themed teas
-the Plaza may have had an Eloise themed tea at one point but I don't think they do any more.

mclaurie: The Palm Court at The Plaza offers an 'Eloise Tea' on their afternoon tea menu. Scroll down and you'll see what they offer:

The Eloise tea sounds like fun - but $100 for tea for a mom and daughter does seem a little pricey.

I don't think there are any 'deals' at the Plaza, nytraveler! If your princess is into Eloise, be sure to at least visit the Eloise retail store downstairs in the Plaza shops. Take a look at Eloise's portrait, too. Walk-throughs for both are free!
