Car rental prices vary so widely depending on (1) what type of car, (2) when, and (3) for how long you want to rent; that this question is almost nonsensical. Your best bet is to go to Kayak.Com (or other travel search engine) and ask about your specific dates and car type desired. If you wish, you can even specify a different drop-off site.

The Transportation Center just outside the airport has all of the major car rental companies. There is a shuttle that you take just outside of baggage claim that will take you to the center.
You can also try using priceline. You can see what the various companies charge very easily. You can also try bidding for a car which will make it less money.

PaulRabe I appreciate your giving me the website on car rentals. I realize that a van will be more than a sedan or such other differences. The same thing would apply to differences in hotels. I thought someone who had rented from the airport might give some insight into which rental company gave them a better deal. Your comment about my post being "nonsensical" is the type of comment that would keep others from posting questions on this board.

thejule.....Whoever you rent from, carefully consider the rental company's CDW coverage. It's extra usually rediculously high. But in the most recent issue of CondeNast mag, the Ombudsman feature, a man thought his credit card company(AMEX) would cover adeuqately. It did not.He got stuck with $15K bill that would have been covered had he taken Enterprise's CDW coverage.Just a thought.Best of Luck!
