Okay, since the posts are lagging I will chime in with my favorites--from my quick scroll through I don't think any of these have been mentioned yet.

It's been a few years, but we loved The Bistro...don't know how the quality is these days, it has been QUITE a few years actually. But it's such a cute restaurant and I still remember the cream of broccoli soup...I have tried to recreate it over the years. They also used to have a fantastic guitar player whom we enjoyed a lot--don't know if they still have live music or not. It's a pretty romantic spot, from what I remember.

For more casual dining, Pizza a Fetta is pretty good. They have a cute eating area (small though) or you can do takeout.

Breakfast at Lazy Susan's is a must do.

Cannon Beach is fabulous, I don't think you can go to wrong if you follow your gut once you are there. Enjoy!

Okay, my bad. I see the question said "new." Duh. Sorry. Well, none of those are new, but maybe new to you? LOL!

Hi Bill!

Yes....lots of trips in retirement! This one will be great fun because it's with our son, DIL and two darling grandsons

You have Maui coming up soon, right? Lucky YOU!!

Yeah, Scarlett, Marzanos is the place I was thinking of. Thanks!

And no one asked about Astoria- I just suggested Wet Dog first if they made it to Astoria (When I'm in that area, I stay in CB and day trip to the nearby towns, so I associate Astoria, Manzanita, etc. with CB/Seaside.) Just a quirk of mine

And now I'm going to have to check out Stephanie Inn- didn't know that was a restaurant, too!

The Stephanie Inn is very nice. Crystal Corbin replaced John Newman (Newman's @ 988) recently. It is a fixed price menu, so call ahead to see if it's something you would like. ***kim***

Or try the Pub & Grub, you might want to bring your own wine glasses but I hear it is yummy.
