One of my friends bought a digital camera from a store in the Belz Factory Outlet shopping mall.
He was really pleased with the price and it was significantly less (in fact hundreds of dollars less) than the same camera from a store in the Forum Shops at Caesars' Palace.
I don't recall the exact shop but I remember it was very close to the Nike Store. Plus I am from the UK where digital cameras are typically 15-20% more expensive - a good deal for us may not be so good if you are from the US.

Forget Circuit City. Fry's Electronics is where you want to go. It's located on Las Vegas Boulevard about 1-2 miles south of Manadalay Bay. It will be on your right-hand side just after you pass the now defunct "Vacation Village". It is actually closer to the strip hotels than the factory outlet mall is.
It's a brand new store that has every type of electronic gadget you could want. It's so big it even has a cafe inside!
Their web site is www.outpost.com. You can go there to get an idea of their prices and selection.

Their web site does not have all of the products that the store has. I checked with the store directly and they do indeed have the camera you want in stock. It's the 4-megapixel Canon Powershot S400, right? Their price is $497.00. I'm pretty sure they will match any price if you find it lower. You can call them directly at (702) 932-1400. Hope this helps!

You walked??? Sorry Smalley, but I don't remember any of your messages saying that you needed a store that was within walking distance of your hotel.
There is a bus that runs up and down Las Vegas Blvd. your know.
At any rate, I'm glad you found the camera you were looking for.

Don't get me wrong lasvegaslocal, no hint of critisism intended: it was our choice to walk it. In fact we first walked from The Orleans to the strip and then to Fry's. We did take the bus back though! BTW, their price was $447. Thanks again.
