My 2 grown daughters and me are touring cal this summer. Not sure all areas we are going but i would like info on the san diego area and LA. Good deals on nice hotels great places to eat and tips on any "must sees". I will be following this for several mos and will ask about other info as ?s arise. How many days will you have, excluding travel days?

And one Q I would ask: How many rooms do you need? Aside from the hotels - you might consider a condo/suite - and VRBO has a number as well.

we will need only 1 rm. initially we have about 7 days then one daughter must return to work. my other daughter and I will go on north to either big sur and san fran area or to yosemite thx for your replies.
