My 2 grown daughters and me are touring cal this summer. Not sure all areas we are going but i would like info on the san diego area and LA. Good deals on nice hotels great places to eat and tips on any "must sees". I will be following this for several mos and will ask about other info as ?s arise. I have found this site to be so helpful in the past THX

How many days will you have, excluding travel days?

We have stayed at their hotels in San Diego, Marina del Rey, and Pismo Beach.

And one Q I would ask: How many rooms do you need? Aside from the hotels - you might consider a condo/suite - and VRBO has a number as well.

we will need only 1 rm. initially we have about 7 days then one daughter must return to work. my other daughter and I will go on north to either big sur and san fran area or to yosemite thx for your replies.
