Business Trip in Florida
I am in charge of planning a business trip for 7 couples, April 1-4. We have settled on Florida, hoping the weather will be warm. I'd like to pay no more than $250 a night for a room. We're looking for someplace on the beach, and we'll need some sort of small meeting facility. If not on site, we'd like to at least have access to golf and a spa. Any suggestions?

That is a really busy week in Florida the week before Easter.
To get into a nice resort with golf and a spa, you are going to have to up your limit at bit.
Have you made sure none of these couples have children that are out of school that week? I used to work with a lot of meeting planners and this is one week that would always cause them problems.

Try contacting the Miami CVB (Convention and Visitors Bureau) they are there to help generate business for Miami and they will know the hotels, the meeting facilities, etc.
They should be able to suggest hotel options to best fit your needs. There is no charge for their services (this is what CVB's do for their cities).
Their website is www.tropicoolmiami.com
