It's easily walkable, about ten blocks. It's pretty safe, very safe if there are lots of people about, on the weekends, etc. It might get a little dicey late at night, but just stick to the main roads, where there are people and traffic and you'll have no trouble.

Got tickets in the Diamond/Dugout Box. Are these good seats? They are down third base line. The game is on at 7:10 & according to EricaS should be no problem walking back to Laclede's Landing after the game. Is there any particular route to walk? I would suppose most people attending the game will be departing in vehicles, buses, or trains.

Walk north on Broadway, then turn right (east) on Washington to get to your hotel. There will be tons of people walking around that area. People park all along that stretch, and if it's a weekend, people will be out partying at the Landing and on Washington Avenue.
So, are these expensive seats? It looks like the Dugout Boxes are right behind the plate. Maybe you'll meet Ted Drewes! He always sits to the left of the batter (from the pitcher's perspective) a couple rows up.
I gotta get back, see if the Cards are going to sweep the Reds. Enjoy St. Louis!
