Burlingame, CA restaurants?

We'll arrive at SFO late afternoon Friday Oct 9 and are staying the night at an airport hotel that has a shuttle to Burlingame. I'm looking for recommendations for a casual restaurant, with emphasis on good food, in downtown Burlingame for dinner Friday night.

Something different, Burmese

http://www.mingalabarestaurant.com/

Only problem there may be a line out the door. I don't think they do reservations. Dinner starts early.

If you want a backup, I think Rangoon Ruby does take reservations. But the food is better at Mingalaba.

Tea leaf salad.

Mingalaba was our go-to Chinese restaurant when we lived in Burlingame (for many years, but no longer). We went back recently and it's as good as ever. Mingalaba does take reservations but only for larger groups.

Another good choice is across the street - Copenhagen - excellent burgers, although my go-to dish was always their wonderful chicken piccata.

Oh, I meant to say, Mingalaba's menu is a mix of Burmese and Chinese (when they bought the restaurant from King Yuan, it was Chinese, and I think they intended to make it just Burmese, but the food at King Yuan was very good and very popular, so they combined the menus)

Me again (I sure wish there were an edit button). Another really excellent choice would be Kabul, down the block from Mingalaba and Copenhagen. Great food.

I found many restaurant in google with just 'Restaurant in Burlingame'. I don't have any experience with them but I have checked the review & got some good restaurants.
Did you try to find some restaurants in google?

Thanks to all who replied. We'll check out your recommendations as we walk along. Yes, richardlawson, I did Google. I was looking for the recommendations of Fodorite favorites, and they came through like champs!
Welcome to Fodors.

Betsy, you won't have a problem as a walk-in at either Copenhagen or Afghan (except maybe on a Saturday night), but be prepared for a wait if you decide on Mingalaba, any day of the week!
