Brunswick Dog Friendly Hotel

I will be traveling Route 95 to Florida. I am looking for a clean hotel that accepts small dogs from Darien, as far south as Amelia Island, FL. I have found a few that accept pets in Brunswick, but after reading the reviews I'm still looking. It seems alot of the reviews are a few years old.

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions.

I compete in Agility with my 2 Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties) and have found that many (most) La Quinta's accept pets. I am racking up the rewards points with them and have found them very easy to use. So, check if there is a La Quinta.

ALL LaQuintas and Motel 6s accept pets. Some Holiday Inns do, but you have to call each HI hotel to clarify their pet policy.

By the way
First, What is the best way to transport your animals properly?
Second, What is a good place to buy pet gear? I found a cool little webpage that is dedicated entirely to cats. Cute, Cuddly, and Cleaver cats roam the pages of this webpage (www.cats-tell.com). It has free cat personality tests, cat horoscopes, cat picture contests, and even kitty dating! (That's just too much...) I believe this to be the ultimate cat lovers website. The only thing is that there is no way to properly find a means to move your cat wherever you go. any advice?
