Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition Spring Show

The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists' Coalition will present their spring show May 8 through June 14. There will be over 300 members showing their work. The exhibit itself is in a Civil War era warehouse in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn. There are spectacular views of the Harbor and the Statue of Liberty from the Pier. Across the street is Fairways and the new Ikea is nearby. We usually receive over 5,000 visitors over the course of the show. My wife, my sister-in-law, and I will be there on May 8.

We are a not-for-profit and almost all the work is done by the member/volunteers and urge everyone to "Support Living Artists."

Here are the directions to the warehouse:
http://www.bwac.org/directions.

Thank you and I hope you can make it. (I have also posted this on the Lounge.)

Will you bump up this thread again when it gets closer to the date? I would love to go but would surely forget by the time it actually rolls around.

On another note: do you know anyone you would recommend to pack and ship a painting?

You all missed my friend Charlene's opening on SI yesterday but she made it into timeout.

I might actually be able to make it out to yours Warren because I have a private tour early in the day and I'll head over later - it's on my calendar.
