i have never seen broadway and we are visiting NYC on 23 and 24th so we want to give it a try. I don't know how to go about finding good priced tickets for a broadway show or radiocity christmas spectacular show. pls direct me to the sites that offer reasonable prices or if you have any insider tips.

This is the busiest, most expensive time of year - and you are absolutely last minute - so don;t expect to get any of the big hits - or even great discounts on older shows.

I would go to Broadwaybox.com NOW to see what you can get. (You ma do better on the 24th - since a lot of locals will be at home).

Very few shows will play on Dec 24, Xmas eve! If you really want to see a show, pick something quickly, That Sunday the 23rd will be a very busy day

shows can run up to the hundreds of dollars for a seaet - what is fine with one to pay is highway robbery to another -

don't hesitate to read about (on broadway box or playbill) some of the off broadway, or off-off broadway show - many of them started there (like the Putnam Annual Spelling Bee as an example) -
the off, off off, etc has only to do with the number of seats in the venue and not the quality of the show -

so I understand the desire to have seen a show 'on broadway' but you may want to consider one on and one off or off-off
