Breakfast Options Near LAX
Looking for family breakfast options near to LAX. I will be staying at the Doubletree near LAX with wife and kids (16 & 12). Can anyone make any recommendations for either sit down or 'to go'.
Thanks

Don't know how rushed you will be, but if you have time, drive a few miles south to Manhattan Beach, and have breakfast at the Kettle Restaurant on Manhattan Beach Blvd.,it's just a couple blocks up from the ocean and pier.

MBNancy,
All these years, I thought the Kettle was the place to go at 2am, after the bars closed. I've never been in there during daylight hours.
Peteuk,
Manhattan Beach would also be my choice. There are lots of great breakfast places a few blocks from the ocean. In addition to the Kettle:
Local Yolk, on Highland, near Rosecrans
Beach Hut, on Highland, north of Rosecrans
Good Stuff, (www.eatgoodstuff.com) on Highland, near downtown MB.
Uncle Bill's, on Highland.
If you drive a little farther south to Hermosa, you can have breakfast right at the beach at either Good Stuff Hermosa, Martha's or Scotty's on the Strand.
As MBNancy says, it all depends on how much time you have.

"Closer to LAX", ie: the Century Blvd or Inglewood areas are not very nice places. Sure, there's a Denny's on Century right outside the airport, but I wouldn't take my kids there.
The Doubletree is in El Segundo in the middle of a bunch of office buildings. I don't know of any breakfast places that close by. There is, however, a strip mall on Sepulveda that has a Starbucks, a Sizzler and a few other fast food places. Other than Starbucks, I'm not sure which (if any) restaurants are open for breakfast.
