We'll be arriving at 10:30 pm and need a room for that friday night. Would like a hotel that is close and/or has a shuttle bus that's free. Which ones have you stayed at? The Hyatt Harborside looks nice but since we'll arrive so late we wouldn't have time to enjoy the view. But if they'd throw in their free breakfast for AAA members but not always avaiable...

We've gotten the Hyatt several times on Priceline. Excellent value and an excellent hotel. Restaurant prices are unreasonable but you're pretty well trapped.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites there one night before an early am flight back when the Mass Pike was closed from the western suburbs. The room was very quiet, the bed very comfortable and it includes free bfkfst for everyone who stays there. A free shuttle is included. You will be arriving late, but the separate LR offers flexibility if both of you are not on the same sleep/wake schedule.

Both Hyatt and Hilton are fine (you can walk to the terminal from the Hilton) -- and you can often get a good price on hotwire.com or Priceline.

The Hilton is actually AT the airport - you can walk to it without going outside. It's a standard Hilton - but fine for a quick overnight.

The walkover is a teensy bit long, but it is protected from the weather and traffic. You just have to be a little bit clever to find it in the hotel -- at least the one to Terminal A.

We stay at Logan frequently.

Priceline is very effective, but even with low room costs at the Hyatt or Hilton, when you add in breakfast for two, the price is almost exactly the same as staying at the Embassy Suites.

All three have vans, and the Hyatt has the additional advantage of being next door to the ferry terminal, so you can take their bus as well. The advantage of the Hilton is being able to walk to terminal restaurants. LegalBar in the American part of Terminal B is pretty good and excellent for an airport restaurant.
