I am half way through a trip to Asia. I have already flown a 747, a 767 and a 777. Later this month I am scheduled to fly a 757 and a 737. (Hopefully, there will not be an equipmewnt change ofr these flights).Is that the entire Boeing range that is in operation today, or are there other 7?7 planes in service somewhere? Where can I get this information? I'll be grinning if I get to fly all the Boeing models on one trip.

There should still be 727s in service.

707s were really the breakthrough jet airliners, but they are long-distance oriented, and too obsolete for commercial service; the US air force has some variations on 707s still flying.

I think Boeing renamed the McDonnell Douglass DC9 the Boeing 717 when they took over; those should still be in service some places.

actually, i would like to fly in an one-class first-class plane, at least one time. i don't know the name of the airline or type of plane but a coworker just returned. i think he did london to ny, not sure. said the seats were 60" apart (from your headrest to back of the seat in front of you), standard for the whole plane, along with other omg features. he’s known to embellish the truth b/c i just can’t believe it. claims he won't fly coach over ponds again. i'll have to ask him for the airline name and check if it really exist.

The 717 is still in service. AirTran has many of them. You may also find 727s but they are rapidly disappearing. The 707 is mostly cargo now. The rest of the Boeing "7" lineup still flies regularly.

Privatair, a Swiss company, operates all-business class flights with Lufthansa, Swiss, and KLM coding, on routes between Zurich and Newark, Düsseldorf and Newark and Chicago, and Amsterdam and Houston.

In the US, AirTran, Midwest and Hawaiian are the large 717 operators, with 87, 25 and 11 aircrafts.

No 707 passenger service in most of the developed world anymore. But some cargo carrier and individuals still fly them - including John Travolta.

There are some 727s still being flown by private owners and some charters in the US. FedEx still have a lot of them.

Let me take it back. There's still scheduled passenger service with 727 in the US.
