Does anyone know where you can go on a day trip on a boat in Miami? I have done the trip where you see the famous peoples homes, etc. Any up to Fort Lauderdale or down to the Keys?

There are tons of boat trips out of Miami from full blown cruises to gambling junkets to no where.

The Island Rocket goes to Islamorada for the day.

You can also go to the Bahamas for a day or overnight.

I think in the post andyc specifically asked about boats going up to Ft. Lauderdale or to the Keys.

Sorry, andyc, I don't know of any that do either (other that some cruises of a week or so that do stop at Key West), other than this Island Rocket to Islamorada, which I didn't know about, which GoTravel mentions. That does sound like it could be fun.

What I meant Patrick was does he want to gamble, is he looking for transportation, does he want a destination, does he want to snorkle, a dinner cruise, yadda, yadda. Sorry if I didn't make myself clearer. There are hundreds of boats out of Miami.

Thanks for the feed back. I was looking for a day trip - not gambling. Sail to somewhere like Fort Lauderdale - have a few beers - watching the coat go by - a 4-5 hour trip.
