DH and I stayed a week at the Cliff House in 2006, I think. It is as the pictures show. The view down the pali while having morning coffee is one of my best memories of all our trips to Hawaii.

How did the clockwise route work out? Now that you have done it, does one direction seem to be better than the other or does it matter?

clsr67 - welcome to Fodors! It's always a good idea to look at the dates of threads/posts. This one is from 2007! It doesn't look like the OP [original poster] is still active on here. Perhaps start a new thread asking the question.

Maybe someone will see this and reply! You never know.
