Best Waterfalls on the islands

We are going to Hawaii next year for 21 days and staying on Kauai (Northside), Maui and BI. I love waterfalls, but don't need to drive/hike to all of the accessible ones just a few of the very best. On these 3 islands could I get some feedback on which ones just took your breath away or you would rather have skipped.

Thanks!!!

The two that I can remember off the top of my head are on Kauaipaeka'a Falls and Wailua Falls.

So if we do the Hilo falls on BI and some falls in Kauai are we missing anything grand on the Road to Hana? I don't want to do the Road to Hana as it is very long if I will be disappointed after my Kauai and BI journeys.

The falls I mentioned on Kauai are large and the easiest to get to by car. The waterfalls that I recall on the Road to Hana are much smaller but the foliage and terrain should not be missed, and you can always turn around if you feel you are underwhelmed. I do not think you will feel underwhelmed about the sights along the Road to Hana, and highly recommend it.

Akaka Falls State Park near Hilo is really stunning. There is a paved pathway that makes a nature loop. It is steep but less than 1/2 mile long. The falls are spectacular.

Easy to see on Kauai are Wailua Falls (Maalo Rd) and Opaekaa Falls (Kuamoo Rd).

There is nothing like a good strong rain on the Ko olaus (spelling?) either through the Pali or Likelike or even H3 on Oahu. There are hundreds of waterfalls at once.

I guess some folks don't think the hana waterfalls are that impressive when they aren't going full force...but we really enjoyed playing in Chings Pond and spending time at The Blue Pool - IMO, these are not to be missed. There was one in the beginning of the road that we did not get close to but took a short trail to an awesome vantage point - I think it was Upper Puo------- Falls??? beautiful!

IMO, the most spectacular waterfalls on Kauai were those we saw from the heli tour. "5 sisters" "Jurasic Falls", one that was at least a 1,000 drop...and the hundreds of trickling falls in the Wai'ale'ale crater were breathtaking!

aloha!

Most impressive waterfall I have seen is the waterfall seen from the Waipi'o
Valley(Big Island)....1600'. It is seen from the floor of the valley.
