Best Seafood in Santa Monica?
I will be in Santa Monica for two nights and probably will go to seafood restaurants both of them. What are the pro's and con's of Enterprise Fish Company, the Lobster, and Ocean Avenue Seafood (I have been to the King's in Carlsbad, CA). Should I seriously consider I Cugina, which has Italian seafood. Am I missing a good seafood restaurant in Santa Monica or nearby? Thanks.

Long time ago, during a convention, we went to an eat all you can seafood place in Santa Monica. Pretty good at that time. Believe it was called the Lighthouse and was situated on Second and Wilshire (?)
Maybe rjw cam help, since he works in that area.
Happy dining!

The Lighthouse is at Second and Arizona (a block south of where Jason888 was thinking-- and across the street from where I work), and it's all-you-can-eat sushi. Not my cup of jasmine tea, but they also have hot entrées.
I can tell you that Ocean Avenue Seafood is probably the best seafood restaurant on the Westside. The Lobster has the great views, and I've heard it's good, but I've not eaten there yet. Ocean Ave consistently impresses clients I've brought there, for what it's worth. Enterprise Fish Co. is a bit farther down in SM, and that is another place I have to visit one of these days. But I can tell you: You won't go wrong at Ocean Ave!!

The only seafood place I've eaten in Santa Monica is the Lobster. It is wonderful! Great views, fun, non-stuffy atmosphere and (best of all) killer lobster. Not cheap but a great evening. It's one of the LA area places that I dream of returning to (that and Spago).
