Best route for Worcester -> downtown Boston Thursday

We have to drive from Worcester, MA to downtown Boston Thursday. Our destination is 321 Columbus Ave (Reuning and Sons Violins), which appears to be sort of southeast of Copley Place. I know traffic in Boston is a little weird right now, so I was wondering if anyone could give best directions. We are basically familiar with Boston but it has been awhile...

Thank you very much.

Well, maybe this post was too dumb for any responses.

Thought I'd top it just in case...

Thanks again.

I don't think your post was dumb, it just might be a function of posting it after working hours and the relative number of people familiar with Worcester (vs. other more touristy locations)

There's really no alternative route, so just use the standard way that all mapping sites will give you - just take the Masspike to Copley Sq exit. Go south on Dartmouth St to Columbus Ave.

That area is no where near the Big Dig, and hasn't changed in years. You'll remember it once you get there.

IT is possible you won't find any street parking near your location, there are expensive parking lost nearby. My experience is that I can usually find parking on Columbus Ave. or side streets between Berkely and Dartmouth.

I don't drive enough in the Boston area to help with directions. But I will suggest

http://www.mbta.com The commuter train (or Amtrak) Lot's less stress.

Thanks everybody! We zipped right in with no problems at all and even found an on-street parking spot! Boy that neighborhood looks like it has gotten quite fancy since I was there last.
