Where, in California, is the Best Place to have a Big Birthday Bash?

Birthday,

What type of party are you thinking of? ie: formal, casual, day or night, etc. It would be helpful if you could narrow down some of the details.

Black's Beach in San Diego.
Nude beach, invite lots of California's best party entertainers....Dennis Rodman, Ozzy Osbourne, Pam Anderson, Ronald Reagan, Dianne Feinstein....should be a really large time.

The best place to party in California is Chico. There, I've gone and spilled the beans.

Had some of my better hangovers from The Grad, The O, Madison Bear Garden, and Jake's.
Of course they have probably all have collapsed from old age by now...much like myself!

Yes, RAE, Chico is the best place to party in California. Your brother-in-law would have received bad grades in Chico if he had attempted to study there, what with all the partying.

He would have to major in partying to receive good grades in Chico. It's been done in the past for the scholarship athletes.

Okay, all you Chico-ites. Been there, done that. Any other ideas for drunken wildness? I'll keep my clothes on, thank-you-very-much, Black's Beach

Kal, Just in case you are interested, The Grad and The Bear are still going strong. Jakes, unfortunately is no longer, it is now the 5th Street Steakhouse. Please don't come to Chico to party. We have enough idiots running around as it is.

Christy, Thanks and OUCH!
But I can't even recall the last time I "partied" up in Chico...Maybe Pioneer Week, circa 1975? Yes. I'm that old.
Jake's had some of the best prime rib. Too bad.

Lost Isle. Where else could you find,an outdoor bar, palm trees, an outdoor dance floor, live music and a resident wandering pig...all on an island in the Sacramento Delta. It is not for the faint of heart though!
