Hello LoveItaly,
Someone brought me a roast pork dish from Mistral that I enjoyed. However, that person (who bought a portion for himself as well) thought the meat was a tad stringy. I pointed to him out that that Mistral's meat, as much as possible, is from free-range stock. I guess all that running around builds muscle!

Good morning Dovima. That is interesting. BTW, I picked up a prepared chicken at our local Nuggets Market Tuesday..half the cost of Mistral's and their chickens are always so good, tender and juicy and cooked properly.
But the Ferry Building is truly a great place to get acquainted with. And having a drink and/or something to eat while sitting outside on the plaza while watching the boats on the bay etc., is so relaxing. Also, walking along the Emcarcadero is a goood activity. There is now public walkways behind (water) side of the buildings north of the Ferry Bldg. If anyone wants to take BART the Emcarcadero Station is just across the street from the Ferry Bldg.
Have a wonderful time Betsy and do give us a report.
