I travel to vegas often. Stay out of the casinos. Go to place called Pasta Mia. It is the best Italian food in vegas. There are 2 of them, east & west. Depending on which side of the strip youy are. I would suggest Pasta Mia West, it si located on Sahara west of the the strip ( ithink). Look it up in the phone book. A couple of other place worth checking out. Ghandi(indian food), Mediteranean Cafe(middle-east food), McCormick & Scmick (Sea-food), Gordon Biersch (upscale brew Pub),

I think the Cafe Andreotti at the Harrahs is great.

Forget all of the previous posters - the best Italian restaurant is Antonio's at the Rio (Terrazza at Caesar's Palace is also very good).
