Best dim sun in NYC
Dear friends
What place would you consider to be the best in New York for dim sun(that is how it is writen?)
Also if you would know of any interesting events between may 14 and 26 in New York I would like to be advised so I would look for them.
Thanks,
Marcia

Totally take the dim sum dining in Chinatown. Golden Unicorn is definitely the best, but others are not too bad, either. Make sure you don't sit on the inside of the table so you can take a peek into the dishes as they're carted around!

Dim sum is usually served between 11am and 2pm. This is why there are legions of little old Chinese ladies getting up at 4am to start work at 5am, chopping, mixing, and folding all those little mouthfuls. By the time 11am rolls around, they are already home.
You could start dim sum as early as 10:30am and go as late as 3pm, but you wouldn't want to. The early bird at a dim sum house gets yesterday's left over dimsum. The late bird gets the last batches and had the choices severely reduced.
Avoid any place that serves dim sum all day. The dim sum would NOT be FRESH and the whole point of Chinese food is FRESHNESS.
