Best crabcakes near the Bay Bridge?

My husband and I are driving from Northern Virginia to Bethany Beach, Delaware, and want to stop near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for lunch. Any recommendations--especially for a waterfront place with good crabcakes?

I can't remember the exact name but we had delicious crabcakes in Crisfield, MD during the winter. It was a neat little town just north and west of the CBBT. Worth a little side trip

Crisfield, though a wonderful place to get crabs, is not near the Bay Bridge. I think Cheapbutnice is referring to the Bridge/Tunnel that links the Delmarva Penninsula to mainland Virgina.

Harris's Crab House is pretty well-known for its crabs/seafood. Its just as you come over the bridge if you are coming from DC area. They have some outdoor seating with a view of the Kent Island Narrows.

Is Annapolis too far from the Bridge? I would go to Buddy's in downtown Annapolis.

Oh, so it's not the San Francisco Bay Bridge? We do have the waterfront, y'know!

Be warned that crabs are currently out of season, so they probably won't be quite the size and quality as later in the summer. Still worth going though.
