Best breakfest on Ka'anapali Beach

We are looking for a breakfest buffet on Kaanapali Beach. I know there are a lot of hotels on that stretch. Which one has the best breakfest?

We just returned from Kaanapali. We thought The Sheraton buffet was not great. I'm guessing either The Hyatt or The Westin would be much better. But if you want a breakfast that's really out of this world for probably the same price as either of those hotels, jump in your car or get a taxi to Longhi's in Lahaina. We are all still raving about their homemade cinnamon rolls, blueberry or strawberry buttermilk pancakes, homemade waffles, excellent bacon, fresh squeezed juices, out of their garden berries, and great coffee. This was undoubtedly one of the best breakfasts we've ever had in many years of traveling all over the world ( except possibly for Ireland!)

Just wanted to add that Longhi's was recently rated as one of or maybe THE best breakfast in Hawaii, if you believe those things. In this case, I do, and I am a former bakery owner in NYC!

I believe it was a restaurant association award. And now that we've eaten there quite a few times, I agree with them!

Does Longhi's still just recite the choices verbally...rather than giving customers a printed menu? That ruined the whole experience for me.

Longhi's has a printed menu, but the server also recites the day's specials.

it's not a breakfast buffet but either Gazebo in Napili right on the ocean is awesome..Plantation House at Kapalua Golf Course and Club house for the best ahi benedict and other great items..pretty reasonable too.
Sea House is pretty good as well.

Hula Pie..yum!

JohnD,

Enjoyed your reply! After a very turbulent flight from JFK, we landed in Shannon, and headed straight to Limerick for an Irish friend's wedding. We had the best breakfast I've ever had in my life, all of which was made even more entertaining when the father of the bride thought he was being gravely insulted by the mother-in-law-to- be, and decided to "shoot" her newly coiffed head with a water gun from an open second floor window!

Weadles,

Were you referring to the recent article on Honolulu Magazine, titled "25 Reasons to have Breakfast?

I agree with you regarding their cinnamon rolls, it is truly delicious!

cafegoddess,

Yes, I think I read that article while we were in Oahu, but also thought Longhi's received a recent restaurant association award? Anyway, I do LOVE their cinnamon rolls. Wish I could have one right now!

Thanks Weadles,

We were included in that article and it is just nice to know that someone outside of Honolulu read the article.

Not on the beach but close, CJ's Diner:

There's also a great bakery in Lahaina.
