Beaches not to miss on Kauai?

On the North shore, I love Anini because it's easy to swim and snorkle, no high waves because of the reef that protects it. I also love Hanalei Bay beach because it too is an easy swimming beach and you can walk for miles along the shore. On the South shore, I love Poipu Beach and Salt Pond Beach ( near Hanapepe). There are just so many great beaches on Kauai, you really will enjoy them all. Lots of people love Polihale on the far western shore past Waimea, because it is virtually unspoiled and hardly anyone goes there. It is gorgeous, but also a 5-6 mile ride on a rutted cane road that starts at the end of the paved highway. Wherever you do go, just lay back and take in the tropical sun and enjoy swimming in the the warm blue ocean. Heaven!!!

I concur with Brenda on Hanalei Bay. A long 3 mile crescent of sand with moderate waves except in Winter. Also try Tunnels for snorkeling. Hideways beach below Pua Poa is a great hidden beach with good snorkeling right in Princeville. Have a great trip.
