Does anyone know of a website where you can rent a beach house in Cape Cod, I'm thinking last week of August, first week of September.

We've had good luck with this site.

Also try cyberrentals.com. They have loads of houses on the Cape. That and weneedavacation, as previously mentioned, should set you up. Finding specific town's rental agencies on a yellowpages site will also give you more options. For example, Kinlan Grover, Thomas Brown, to name a couple. I don't know where you want to go on the Cape, but there's no end to the rental options.

All three sites mentioned are great.

My SIL recently rented a place for us this July....and we were really, really lucky to find anything for July on such short notice.

However, most the places we looked at were available for the weeks your interested in. For the past three years we've gone the last week of August and there were no crowds. It's a great time to go.
