Beach Blanket in San Francisco

BBB is definitely worth it in my opinion. I take visitors there all the time and every single one has loved it.
As for the Haunted Mansion, I would skip it. Been once about 3 years ago, and recall thinking as I left the building, "what a waste of a perfectly good evening". The dinner was pretty unremarkable, and the magic was even more so. I did, however, like walking through the mansion.

We made the mistake of staying at the Mansions B and B and seeing the magic show. The magic show is a total waste of time as is the dinner (since when are a couple of olives and bread, counted as one of 4 courses in a meal?!), very mediocre and seriously overpriced. The rooms were on the shabby side of shabby chic (peeling wallpaper, minimal amenities)We stayed there one night and felt very ripped off by what was offered. I thought they went out of business.
I think Beach Blanket Babylon is fun and very San Francisco. But it is a wacky sense of humor, most people love it. Be sure to order tickets in advance, if you go.
