Baguette Sandwiches in NYC
Does anyone know of a deli in NYC that has really authentic French baguette sandwiches? I recently had one at the MET (museum)'s North Wing Cafe but they were extremely overpriced.
Thanks

Used to live at 29th and Lex (getting to be a smaller world every day), so I had lunch at that deli almost everyday since my office was on 28th St.
OH even BETTER, is the little bakery on Lex between 29th and 28th, it's a french bakery and the chef there is fantastic. The smell of the fresh bread is amazing. They do all sorts of wonderful sandwiches. It's in the middle of the block on the east side of Lex.

I'm answering my own question!
Since I started working in midtown (31st & Park), I found a couple places with good baguette sandwiches.
Suzie's on the corner of 30th & Park has a variety of sandwiches. It's a huge "buffet by the pound" diner but they have a sandwich section. I've been eating a lot of "fresh mozzarela with sun-dried tomatoes" and "honey ham with brie and apple" baguettes.
Across the street, there's Cosi -- a chain outlet that has pretty decent sandwiches, but not baguette style.
