B&B recommendations

I am thinking of going to Vermont and Conn. this fall to see the fall colors. Does anyone have any B&B recommendations or recommendations for short hikes (2-5 hours)?

Go to bbonline.com We have used that web site a lot and have always stayed in nice places...sorry but we've never stayed in Vt. or Conn.

Vermont and Ct. are rather large states.
In Conneticut I would suggest Boulder inn. It is right on the lake and not to far from Kent. In kent they have a great park with waterfalls. You can choose an hike accordingly.
Also in Vt. there is a place called Hawk Inn near killington.
Great area.

CT. We stayed at Copper Beech Inn(Litchfield) and The Griswold(Essex). I'd recommend The Griswold in a heartbeat!

The Inn at Buck Hollow Farm in Fairfax, VT. About 10 minutes outside of Burlington. A great place to relax!

The Weathertop in Waitsfield is clean, quiet, comfortable, roomy, and in the heart of the Mad River valley.

A really beautiful place.

just to let you know that the copper beach inn is not in Litchfield (not even close actually) but in Ivoryton. If you want to go to vermont you may be a little late in making reservations as many places book up a year in advance. Kedron Valley inn is one of our favorites in Woodstock Vermont with lots of hiking near by.
