AZ restaurants

Can anyone recommend any good restaurants for lunch and/or dinner in Tempe, GC area, Phoenix or Sedona? I enjoy all types of cuisine and restaurants: "foo-foo" food at expensive restaurants, casual-hole-in-the-wall places and everything in between. Any ideas? Thanks!

Z-tejas in Tempe has tasty food and yummy mango margaritas.

El Paso BBQ in Scottsdale offers up good bbq ribs and salmon.

We loved Sam's Cafe in Phoenix. It's within walking distance of the convention center is a little shopping plaza (Arizona Center?). The menu has a southwest flair, I even enjoyed meatloaf and potatoes. They put a bowl of chips on the table with two dipping sauces. The chips range from corn to cinnamon dusted to sweet potato.

Check out T Cook's at the Royal Palm and The Top of the Rock at the Hilton Squaw Peak resort. There's also Mary Elaine's at the Phoenician; it's a five diamond restaurant. The other two are four starts. These three places are rather expensive, elegant but worth every penny! Do you like sushi?

Thank you so much for the advice. Sushi is the only food I do not like actually. I had heard of Mary Elaine's before. Thanks a bunch!
