Austin for the first weekend in December

My brother and I are heading to Austin the first weekend in December. It is an annual trip that we always enjoy for music, shopping and eating. However, we would like to try some new restaurants. Has anything new opened up lately that anyone can recommend? Any old favorites we should try?

I think there are a few new ones, but can't think of the names right now. You can go to www.diningoutwithrobbalon.com Rob Balon is a restaurant critic who has eaten at most of the restaurants in Austin.
