Flying from Denver (after driving in from Nebraska) to LA this Thursday for the USC/Nebraska game. Estimates are for 30,000-40,000 Husker fans to storm LA for the game (and no, we won't all be wearing overalls--LOL)

I am so excited for the trip--look for Mr. and Mrs. Tess in the audience at Craig Ferguson's show next Friday night Hmmm, should I wear my Fodor's pin????????????

September and October- the best two months of the year. I saw my first "grandson as participant" football game on Saturday. Now we can all howl like wolves in unison. It was better than I thought it would be. They are weight classified with stripes etc. on the uniforms; play real rules.

And the Bears beat Green Bay 26-0. Any day you can beet Favre at home and shut him out is a day to remember.

Have fun all at tail gating time supreme. I think we are going to try to get a home game in at Champaign. Peyton Bowl was fun and really hyped.

Football AND baseball playoffs. AHHHHH!

We're traveling from North Carolina to San Diego to see a Chargers game. Philip Rivers, you know...2100 or so air miles.

Born a Packers fan. Both of my parents were AT the Ice Bowl. My dad (now gone) had season tickets. That means we lost the tickets and I'm too old to get on the waiting list. So that is a two hour trip - we are always invited to at least one game a year.

I'm also a Big Badgers Fan - my middle son just graduated from The University of Wisconsin.

There is a conflict of interest as my youngest son attends The University of Minnesota (big rivalry- every year there is the battle for Paul Bunyon's ax) but I guess I have to root for Wisconsin.

I thought about picking against UofL that week in a football pool I am in - didn't think UK would allow themselves to be embarassed in the way the spread indicated. Glad I didn't make that pick, 'cause embarass 'em they did!! U of L looks good (and you know teams that aren't thought of as powerhouses are always underanked - and vice verse - ie TEXAS!).

BTW . . . WHODEY!!! GO BENGALS!!!!!!!!!!

Tom Cruise and his family taveled from the west coast to D.C. for the Redskins game last night. Of course, he also got to go to have the Six Flags here closed down for his family's personal visit.

And the Redskins lost.

LT,
Well, IF ND beats Michigan (possible if not probable) and Michigan beats OSU, and Texas remains undefeated through the rest of the season, and ND beats USC (again a stretch) what then?
The college game is so much fun.

We are huge Packer fans. We live 35 minutes from Green Bay and get to at least 2 games a year. There is nothing like going to Lambeau Field for a game. Brett Favre is a class act and so much fun to watch. My son is a huge Bears fan (he grew up in the Walter Payton era - so that's not all bad). For the last 10 years, since my son was in high school, we have gone with him and 10-12 of his friends to the Packer/Bear game every year. We rent a van and all go together. This year his friends came home from Denver and Chicago for the game. Unfortunately for us the Packers lost but we still had a great time.

I would go anywhere to watch the Packers - except Detroit (who would want to go there????) and Minnesota - (who would waste their time on the Vikings???? - Definitely the worst fans in the NFL).

GO PACK GO!!! (And, NO we don't all wear cheeseheads).
