I'm getting some mixed reports. Does the no liquids/gel and no electronics and purse only apply to inbound flights from UK or also US domestic flights? Is it part true/ All true? A combination. Can someone explain?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, on all flights. I checked SouthWest - domestic only:

This comes from TSA, not from an individual airline.

FainaAgain's answer is wrong. Electronics are not banned from carryons on domestic flights. The link provided in her own post even explicitly states that.
Great example of why people should go to the official source (TSA) to get their info, not the forums.

Thanks Gardyloo and Faina. I don't mind so much about the liquids - they serve them on the plane anyway. Just my laptop and I are joined at the hip - and my ipod and I hate to have my camera stolen in my checked baggage.
Thanks! I have bookmarked them. I don't fly until Sept 1. Perhaps things have changed by then but I really don't mind about the liquids. I just wish it doesn't start to include laptops....

I think Faina meant yes to the liquids.
Anyway, thanks for responding. I did check TSA but all mentioned both and was a little unclear. I looked mostly at the press release. The questions and answer part was really good at differentiating the international and domestic.
Thanks all!

Sorry for confusion, I meant the liquids only.
Maria, by September 1 the rules may change. I'll fly on September 12 domestic, so will read each word carefully then.
Ahh, just 3 days ago our travel lives were so much easier
