swalter518,
I stayed at Ballys in Jan. 2004 for a Fri/Sat. stay. I booked thru Orbitz for $109 a night. Upon check in, they didn't have my reservation. Fortunatly, I had my printed out confirmation, or I would have been s**out of luck. The front desk lady was very nice, and said you should always fax your reservation, in addition or call after booking your room. She said, "This happens all the time". I asked about paying for an upgrade to a suite overlooking the Eiffel Tower and Fountains, and she found us a room (we waited 2 hours) and it was WORTH it. Our entire wall was a window onto the Eiffel tower, strip and we could sit and watch the water show at Bellagio. It had a hot tub and was roomy. The bed was not the Westin's Heavenly bed....deep sigh, but overall, Ballys was in a great spot, and a good value.
Have fun!
