Any new restaurants in Boca Raton?

Someone usually asks this question by now, but since no one has, I will.

Bova on Federal Highway is suppose to be the new hot spot. Can't tell you firsthand about it because we have not been able to get a reservation at a reasonable hour! We hear it is beuatiful with good food. And in Dleray Beach I guess Tramonti is still the hot spot.

Anyone been to The Addison lately? How is it now?

Gail, I also leave tomorrow! I've just been reading about Opus 5 go take the former Zemi space. Does anyone know whether it's open yet?

DMG, when you ask how the Addison is "now", is there new management or some other reason you ask?

Please report more on Opus 5.

I haven't been to The Addison for two years but am thinking of going next month. (Some restaurants that were "hopping " last year could now be "ghosttowns.")

No, it isn't hopping, and you can pretty much get a table whenever you want, but we loved Sushi Thai next door to the UPS store right by Mizner. The homemade ginger salad dressing was to die for and the sushi and thai food were excellent.

Gail: You should be back by now. So what are the new places - or which old ones did you go to?

Just returned from Boca. We ate at Bova and it was wonderful. Though it is pricey, you can eat there for less than a fortune. And the waiter had absolutely no attitude. Not only is the food, service, and decor all great, the music is fabulous. Highly recommended!

In April we'll go to Tramonte in Delray.
