Any good hotel recommendations for E Lansing , MI tomorrow night

HELP!! We have to be in East Lansing tomorrow and the next few days for meetings and do not know the hotel situation in the Area at this time. My husband graduated from MSU but it was not recently and we know the area has changed lots. Thanks for any hints.

I have 2 kids currently attending MSU so I'm in East Lansing fairly often. I usually stay off the Lake Lansing Rd exit from US 127. There is a Hampton Inn there (2500 Coolidge Road) and also a Courtyard by Marriott. I have found both of them to be clean and comfortable. There is a shopping mall right there (Eastwood Center) and a number of restaurants. You would need a car however if your meetings are on campus since it is several miles away.

If you want to stay closer to the campus, you may want to try the East Lansing Marriott at University Place or the Kellogg Center (www.kelloggcenter.com). I have never stayed at either but the Marriott is rated #1 on tripadvisor and the Kellogg is right on campus.

GO GREEN!

Thanks so much Pat. We are at the Marriott right now and we are very happy with this hotel. It will work out well for the time we are here. We watched the bank practice for the football game tonight and enjoyed that lots. Go State!!!!

Ooops, I meant the band practice for the football game on Sat. We just watched the practice that night, I am getting tired.

Cali, I'm glad you found a room. Sometimes it's impossible to find a room if something's going on. I would recommend the Marriott too. Some of the other places around there are a horror story in motion.

Good Luck...Hi Pat
