Things have calmed down...Hanalei Bay is just 25-35 feet today (yiiiiiiiiiiikes!).
The sea mist from the force of these monster waves crashing on the reef and the cliff faces which border Hanalei Bay, has engulfed the town, the taro patches, and is about half-way up the pali.
