Alexander Inn

I have made reservations at the Alexander Inn for 2 nights in April with my husband as we are looking for a reasonably priced hotel located in historic area so we could use public transportation. Also, we want a very clean nice room hopefully with a nice view. Do anyone have experience here? Would you recommend it or have an alternate suggestion? Thank you.

I just stayed there St. Patrick's weekend and thought that it was very nice. They went out of their way to attempt to get us a taxi (during the ice storm that Friday), everyone one on the staff was quite friendly. The room was small, but nice and very clean. We were on the second floor, so only had a view of the building across the street, but did see the resident squirrels. It is a cute little neighborhood within the big city. The breakfast room was lovely, and the food quite good. I highly recommend it, and would stay there again.

Although I have not stayed at the Alexander, I think that it is in a very nice area of the city. One that we often visit.

Have stayed there within the past year or so and thought it was fine -- clean place, good location, price is right. Good continental breakfast as well.
