Does this exist? Kauai Hotel question

I'm in the beginning stages of planning a 5 year anniversary trip to Kauai in the spring. I have done a lot of research here and elsewhere and had decided on the Hyatt.

Well, my husband is interested in a small "boutique" kind of place. I like this type of hotel usually, but my concern in Kauai is that we wouldn't have access to a beach with facilities, nice pools, and a spa.

So, is there a small luxury hotel in Kauai with a beach and pool? It doesn't have to be a huge pool or beach...just something nice with service (towels, chairs, etc.)

I'm doubting it exists, but I thought I'd ask. Also, if it IS out there, would you prefer that over the Hyatt?

Thanks!

I haven't been to Kauai in over 30 years, so I don't know of any place.

But here are a couple of sites that you can look through to see if something appeals to you.

www.vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner)
scroll to under the map, find Hawaii and click on Kauai.

www.hawaii-hotels.com

After you look at the Kauai hotels, you can scroll down to the bottom and change to Kauai condos.

If you don't find anything better than the Hyatt, at least you'll have more confidence that the Hyatt is the best choice for you.

I've been to Kauai 3 times in the last 5 years and I don't know of anyplace that meets your description. You might look at Gloria's in Poipu, but I'm not sure if she has a pool. www.gloriasvacationrentals.com

I have stayed at the Hyatt and loved it. I thought it was very romantic and beautiful. It didn't seem commercial at all. I think you would enjoy it.
