A Gem of a Restaurant in Long Beach, CA

Tracy and I traveled to our old stomping grounds of Long Beach a few days ago to have dinner with a group of friends. Tracy had read glowing reviews about a place called Restauration. The reviews were spot on. Great food, terrific service and and a cool ambiance. If you are ever in the Long Beach area, Restauration gets my highest of recommendations!

The pork dish was one of the best I have ever tasted, and the table started with an order of Parmesan Churros. More dishes explained below...

Enjoy!

The space used to house a breakfast joint (one of many in Long Beach) called the Porch. Waits for Sunday brunch were very long, especially if you wanted a table on that back patio. But it was worth it.

I've heard nothing but great things since Restauration opened, so it's on the list to try. Especially now, since summer evenings in Long Beach have been absolutely perfect for outdoor dining. Maybe tonight...!

rjw...I don't think you'll be disappointed. I also heard from friends about a place called The Social Club. Have you been there? It's on my list.

I wish I hadn't read this. I was thinking of staying home today and not spend any money.

Looks great. Seems there is a mini-GTG opportunity here.

OMG your dogs are adorable.

For some reason that patio looks familiar. I'm not sure when or why I might have been there, but I guess I have. Some friends used to live nearby, so must have gone with when it was something else.
